They will be responsible for running teams between 3 to 15+ people varying on scope and owning the relationship for a client while engaging in business development activities that generate new revenue.ResponsibilitiesEnsure that all projects within the program are aligned with strategic priorities i.e. profitability, revenue growth, and resource management.\r\nResponsible for the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets for specific projects assigned to them with little to no supervision.\r\nFacilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure everyone is aligned with project objectives and timelines.\r\nMonitor project portfolio to ensure objectives are being satisfied and provide timely advice to the Manager/Client on any anticipated delays affecting project commitments.\r\nOwns the progress of projects, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget and is responsible for escalating when project metrics are at risk.\r\nResponsible for the relationships and health of good standing with clients.\r\nWorks with senior leadership to develop and guide business development activities for achieving growth targets in assigned areas and clients.\r\nAssist in allocating resources effectively, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget and communicating with leadership when required for additional resources.\r\nReview of Site Plan and Subdivision applicants submitted to Municipal Land Use Boards and attend Municipal Planning Board, Zoning Board of Adjustment, and Council Meetings, when required by management or client.\r\nCoordinate client needs and internal resources and teams to effectively uphold high quality delivery of projects to our clients.\r\nApply technical skills required to manage the project and client expectations, and to support the staff (e.g. storm water, hydraulics, grading, land use planning, structural analysis, survey, base mapping, etc.)\r\nConsider health, safety and environmental requirements when developing civil designs.\r\nMonitor and track project portfolio's expenses to ensure that the project stays within the allocated budget.\r\nEnsure that project milestones and deliverables are achieved on schedule and within scope/budget.\r\nRegularly communicate project status, issues, risks, and changes to stakeholders and senior management.\r\nAct as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and concerns addressed promptly.\r\nLead, motivate, and mentor project teams, ensuring collaboration and high performance.\r\nOversee or manage staff to ensure quality control checks to ensure deliverables meet project specifications and client expectations.\r\nServe as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.\r\nEngage in Artheon activities as a senior leader, going above and beyond to ensure the future success of junior staff are set up for success.QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Surveying, Construction Management, or related disciplines.\r\nProfessional Engineer (PE) or equivalent professional license required.\r\n10+ years of experience in design, construction, or equivalent experience.\r\n10+ years of experience managing and assisting in project management or client management.\r\nCertified Municipal Engineer (CME), preferred\r\nPreferred Qualifications:\r\nAdvanced proficiency in scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.\r\nProficiency in creating advanced Gantt charts, reporting dashboards, and resource management.\r\nOrganizing workflows and visualizing project tasks, particularly for smaller or less complex projects.\r\nKnowledge of cost estimation techniques and software.\r\nEntry level understanding KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for tracking project progress.\r\nBasic knowledge of AutoCAD or MicroStation if for managing design aspects of engineering projects.\r\nFamiliarity with software for managing quality audits and compliance.\r\nProficiency with Microsoft Teams for team communication and updates.\r\nExperience with SharePoint Adobe or similar platforms to manage project documents, blueprints, and specifications.\r\nBasic knowledge of contract law and understanding of contract management tools for reviewing and preparing contracts and monitoring deliverables.\r\nKnowledge of safety regulations as OSHA.\r\nAbility to create proposals, technical reports, specifications, and other project documentation in an organized and professional manner.BenefitsPay Transparency:\r\nThe base salary (or hourly rate) range for this role is indicated in the posting.
