In this position, the Software Engineer must be proficient with Splunk.Requirements Security Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\r\nMinimum Qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus ten (10) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus twelve (12) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity\r\nFourteen (14) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.\r\nRequired Skills:Experience using the Linux CLI and the Linux suite of tools\r\nExperience developing Shell/Perl scripts to automate manual processes\r\nRecent software development experience using Python\r\nExperience with Splunk SPL, dashboard creation, and report development\r\nExperience with Splunk data onboarding, field extractions, data models, and performance tuning\r\nExperience with Splunk alerting, incident management workflows, and event correlation\r\nFamiliar interfacing with Log Management tools including Syslog-ng and rsyslog\r\nFamiliar Message Brokers such as Kafka\r\nExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools including Ansible\r\nExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI\r\nExperience with Git Source Control System\r\nDesired Skills:Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)This position is open for direct hires only.
