As your skill set grows, you will assume greater responsibility and actively participate in determining your career path.\r\nHow You Will Contribute\r\nCompleting audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets\r\nWorking with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data\r\nHelping to draft management letter comments and the audit report\r\nParticipating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers\r\nWe are looking for people who have Forward Vision and\r\nEffective time management\r\nStrong oral and written communication skills\r\nAbility to work well with a team as well as independently\r\nProblem-solving attitude\r\nWillingness to take initiative\r\nClose attention to detail\r\nAbility to work under pressure and against deadlines\r\nMinimum Qualifications\r\nAssociate positions require a bachelor's degree\r\nMust maintain a minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.0\r\nAchievement of a minimum grade of C or higher in job-relevant coursework\r\nAchievement of a minimum grade of C or higher in intermediate accounting\r\nCandidates must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in at least one U.S. State by the start date of the role\r\nSolid technical accounting knowledge\r\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite\r\nMust have reliable transportation to and from your assigned office and be able to attend off-site meetings and events in person\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nPrior internships in a public accounting firm performing audit work\r\nApplicants for positions with Forvis Mazars must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
