Physical Therapist (PT)

We are looking to hire a committed Physical Therapist to work with our residents to restore function and quality of life while they stay at our beautiful skilled nursing facility in the Mat-Su Valley. Relocation assistance is available. We are looking for a candidate who is eager and enthusiastic to assist our residents in the processes of recovery, and who finds joy in helping them learn and grow in their abilities. Responsibilities Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve residents’ motion and mobility Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions Motivate residents during treatment in order to help them function optimally Promote residents’ health by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination Consult and practice with other health professionals Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress Document patient care services Skills Proven work experience as a physical therapist Intensive education and clinical expertise Ability to manage residents with different types of personalities Current knowledge of treatment practices Drive to continually learn and grow Professional behavior Excellent interpersonal communication skills Valid license to practice physical therapy Graduate degree or greater in physical therapy Work Remotely No Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Disability insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Relocation assistance Vision insurance Application Question(s): Are you certified in the State of Alaska?
