Controller ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & ReportingLead the monthly close process, review financial statements, and prepare board-level reports.Analyze operational dashboards and investigate variances in revenue, expenses, and service line performance.Manage physician compensation models, quarterly distribution communications, and annual income estimates for tax preparation.Coordinate entity valuations and submit industry benchmarking data. Operational Finance & Strategic LeadershipCollaborate with department heads to provide financial feasibility analyses for new clinics, partnerships, and service expansions.Oversee the financial setup and rollout of new operational systems, technologies, and locations.Facilitate integration of accounting and revenue cycle processes across all affiliated entities.Provide tax planning and financial analysis for real estate or partnership transactions. Revenue Cycle & Payer RelationsMonitor daily and weekly KPIs, including collections, reimbursement trends, and accounts receivable aging.Support managed care negotiations and model the financial impact of payer contracts.Resolve billing workflows and credentialing issues between payers and internal teams.Identify and implement reporting automation and process improvements to enhance revenue efficiency. Payroll & Plan AdministrationEnsure biweekly payroll accuracy and reconcile quarterly retirement plan deferrals.Lead the annual 401(k) audit and manage annual physician profit-sharing and match updates.Partner with benefits brokers to evaluate health insurance claims and annual coverage options.
