In the absence of the manager,the shift leader effectively leads the team to execute great guest service and follows operating policies and procedures.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nLead team members on shifts, including assigning tasks (cleaning, line duties, opening/closing duties), providing feedback and training.\r\nUtilize the huddle board to effectively position the team.\r\nKnow and support appropriate personnel policies, labor laws and safety procedures.\r\nEnsure all security procedures are executed (safe procedures, open/close procedures etc.).\r\nTransition into opening/closing duties.\r\nMake guests really happy by providing great guest service.\r\nResolve guest complaints/issues.\r\nLead team members to open, transition, and close shifts.\r\nManage and organize the line and delegate duties to team members.\r\nKnow and uphold standards for product quality.\r\nWork the line as needed.\r\nPromote sales on the shift through suggestive selling and knowledge on in-store promotions.\r\nExecute and support all food safety requirements and practice.\r\nControl food costs, labor, waste, and cash on the shift.\r\nCount drawers and follow proper daily cash handling procedures.\r\nComplete additional e-learning as required.\r\nRequirements\r\nGreat communication skills to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers\r\nMust have a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture.\r\nMust be a strong team player.\r\nAbility to train and coach others.\r\nAbility to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours per day.\r\nThe ability to lift up to 55 pounds.\r\nThe ability to push and pull up to 55 pounds.\r\nThe ability to squat or crouch to lift items from floor level.\r\nAbility for twisting of the back up to 90 degrees left and right.\r\nAbility for bending of the back up to a minimum of 90 degrees to lift objects from the floor.\r\nThe global chain that Little Caesars is today began with a blind date between Mike Ilitch and Marian Bayoff that was arranged by Mike's father in 1954. Within just a matter of months, the couple was married.
