The Full Stack Developer is a mid-level software engineers with hands-on development experience and proven abilities to support software activities in an Agile software development lifecycle. Ideal candidates should be proficient in JavaScript UI Frameworks (React, Angular, Bootstrap) along with a mixture of other languages (e.g. .Net/C#, Java, PHP, etc.). Candidates should also possess strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills, enjoy a learning environment and be a US Citizen with an Active Secret clearance.\n\nLocation: Washington, DC, near Farragut North/West Metro, with Hybrid Telework Available\n\nGeneral Role & Responsibilities:\nWork independently and collaboratively on a multi-disciplined project team in an Agile development environment.\nContribute to detailed design and architectural discussions as well as customer requirements sessions to support the implementation of web applications.\nDesign and develop clear and maintainable code.\nLearn and integrate with a variety of systems, APIs, and platforms.\nInteract with a multi-disciplined team to clarify analyze, assess requirements-\nActively involved in the design, development, and testing activities for web applications.\nHelp recommend strategic architectural and technical directions to our clients.\n\nRequired Skills:\nWeb Application development experience\nDeveloping applications with JavaScript frameworks such as, React, Node.JS, Next.JS, NestJS\nKnowledgeable in HTML5/CSS\nSolid understanding and experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL\nExperience working with SQL/NoSQL Databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, SQL Server, Snowflake, Postgres, Oracle)\nFamiliarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS, or similar)\nProficient in Git version control\nAgile software development methodology\n\nDesired Skills:\nMS Azure or AWS PaaS development tools and services.\nFamiliarity with headless CMS platform (Strapi ,Drupal, or similar)\nAzure DevOps or similar DevOps CI/CD tools\nDevelopment of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes\nModern UI Frameworks (React, Angular, Bootstrap)\nExperience with open source solutions using ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Prisma\n.NET development including C#, ASP.NET MVC, or Razor/Blazor\nJava/J2EE web applications or supporting backend APIs using a variety of frameworks (e.g., Struts, Spring, Grails, etc.).\nDrupal and PHP.\nMobile application device management (MDM) frameworks such as, React Native, Xamarin/Maui, Swift\nExperience with Single Sign-On (SSO) and authentication mechanisms.\n\nEducation:\nBachelor of Science degree from an accredited university.\n\nSecurity Clearance:\nCould be subject to investigation.\n\nAbout OPEXUS\nGet government unstuck with OPEXUS.
