As we move from prototype into pre-production and US assembly planning, building the right RV-focused supplier network is one of the most critical foundations for our success.About the RoleThe critical role will be responsible for building and managing Evotrex’s North American supplier ecosystem with a strong focus on RV industry suppliers, premium components, and power-related systems including electrical, energy, chassis, suspension, and high-end interior modules. This role goes far beyond purchasing. You will identify, evaluate, develop, and negotiate with suppliers that can meet Evotrex’s standards for quality, reliability, premium craftsmanship, and scalability as we prepare for production. You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to translate prototype builds into production-ready RV supply chains.ResponsibilitiesRV-Focused Supplier Sourcing & DevelopmentIdentify and onboard established RV industry suppliers across cabinetry, composites, chassis, suspension, plumbing, and premium interior componentsBuild a qualified vendor network for power-related components including electrical systems, battery integration, wiring harnesses, converters, inverters, generators, and control systemsLeverage existing RV industry network to accelerate supplier discovery and onboardingConduct supplier visits, audits, and capability assessmentsCosting, Negotiation & Commercial TermsLead RFQ, RFI, and quotation processes for production parts and assembliesNegotiate pricing, MOQs, tooling costs, payment terms, and lead timesBuild cost models and should-cost analysis to support premium product cost targetsEstablish long-term pricing and supply agreements with RV-grade and premium manufacturersCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Engineering to ensure parts are designed for manufacturability and sourcing feasibilityFacilitate and develop a collaborative working process between qualified US suppliers and Evotrex’s assembly operations across both China and the United StatesSupport prototype builds and transition parts into production supplyParticipate in design reviews to provide sourcing, RV compliance, and cost input early in developmentSupplier Quality & Production ReadinessEnsure suppliers meet RV quality, documentation, and compliance requirementsSupport first article inspections and production validation buildsEstablish supplier performance metrics and ongoing quality monitoringResolve supply issues proactively during prototype and pre-production phasesQualifications7+ years of sourcing, supplier development, or procurement experience within the RV industryStrong network with RV suppliers, especially those producing premium, high-end components and power-related systemsProven track record contributing to the success of a newer RV brand or OEM within the past 10 yearsDeep experience sourcing electrical systems, wiring, battery-related components, converters/inverters, generators, and control modulesExperience working closely with engineering teams on new product introduction (NPI)Experience supporting low-volume to mid-volume production rampStrong negotiation skills with North American manufacturers and contract manufacturersWillingness to travel for supplier visits across the USKnowledge of RV compliance and quality systems (ISO, PPAP, APQP, etc.)Chinese and English bilingual capability is a plusExperience working with Asia-based manufacturers or companies is a plus
