Process EngineerDevelopmental Rotational ProgramA growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Process Engineer to join its operations team. This position is ideal for an early-career engineer who wants broad exposure to plant operations while building the technical and leadership skills needed for long-term advancement.The role offers hands-on involvement across manufacturing, process optimization, equipment reliability, quality systems, and operational excellence initiatives. You'll work directly with production leadership and technical teams to improve performance, solve problems, and support day-to-day plant operations.What You'll DoManufacturing OperationsPartner with production teams to support daily manufacturing activities and achieve operational goalsMonitor process performance and help resolve production challenges.Assist with workflow planning, labor utilization, and production execution.Help maintain consistency through established operating practices and procedures.Process OptimizationAnalyze production data to identify opportunities for efficiency gains.Support continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, waste reduction, and throughput.Track and report key operational metrics.Participate in projects aimed at improving equipment performance and process stability.Equipment & ReliabilityWork closely with maintenance personnel to address equipment-related issues.Assist with troubleshooting manufacturing processes and production equipment.Support preventive maintenance initiatives and reliability improvements.Contribute to equipment upgrades, process modifications, and capital projects.Quality & Operational ExcellenceHelp maintain product quality and manufacturing consistency.Participate in investigations related to process deviations and quality concerns.Support corrective and preventive action efforts.Ensure adherence to internal standards and industry requirements.Safety & Environmental StewardshipChampion a strong safety culture throughout the facility.Participate in safety observations, audits, and improvement initiatives.Assist with identifying and mitigating workplace risks.Support compliance with environmental, health, and safety programs.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with operations, maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams.Contribute to project teams and plant initiatives.Present findings, recommendations, and progress updates to leadership.Build strong working relationships across the organization.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline.Internship, co-op, or manufacturing experience is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Interest in manufacturing operations and process improvement.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.What We OfferStructured development and mentoring from experienced manufacturing leaders.Exposure to multiple areas of plant operations and engineering.Opportunities to lead projects and take on increasing responsibility.Clear advancement potential into leadership and technical career paths.
