We are actively seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of SecDevOps Lead for a DHS program.\nJob Summary:\nThe SecDevOps Lead is responsible to perform overall Security/Development/Operations. Support system architecture, development and administration, automated testing and evaluation, cloud tools and infrastructure, and continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines\nKey Responsibilities:\nCollaborate with SDD teams on infrastructure and cloud need to include researching, developing, and enhancing SecDevOps monitoring tools and processes.\nActively seeks knowledge and understanding of industry trends, innovative technologies, software development methods and tools to continuously improve and evolve the product architecture, user experience, and Agile development and SecDevOps practices.\nCollaborate with stakeholders, support contractors, and third-party vendors throughout system integration, performance, security, Section 508, system acceptance, user acceptance, usability, and test and evaluation reporting.\nBuild and maintain a shared responsibility model for integrating security into the development pipeline.\nProvide expert knowledge in continuous integrated security tools.\nBuild security tooling into the automated development pipeline.\nKeep development team up to date with the latest security insights and tools\nSupport the cloud toolsets and monitor and maintain multiple environments with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines that utilize automated builds, automated tests, and static analysis.\nProactively monitor the platform using DHS provided tools and interfaces are available and functioning properly.\nPerform daily automated performance tests to ensure the responsiveness and stability of the platform and the systems that are integrated with it, are maintained.\nPerform deployments automatically with deployment scripts, continuous delivery services, or similar techniques approved by government.\nWork with the DHS OCIO Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to remediate any findings from regular security scans.\nUpdate and assist with updating required security documentation for the platform, including but not limited to the System Security Plan.\nMinimize use of special or custom hosting solutions or licenses that cannot be purchased through standard government contracts.\nEnsure all development can be integrated with CI/CD tools.\nBuild metrics framework for capturing the required metrics.\nIntegrate with DHS standard monitoring tools, minimally Dynatrace and Splunk.\nEnsure solution is deployable in Cloud Native technologies.\nCreate and maintain system architecture diagrams as required in deliverables.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology/systems or equivalent.\nExperience in security compliance, regulations, and best practices; automation and tooling; and incident response.\nU.S. Citizenship (required as per Federal client)\nClearance:\nPublic Trust Background Investigation\nWork Environment/Schedule:\nRemote\nTravel may be required\nLocation:\nSpringfield, VA","company":"Dfuse Technologies","rawCompany":"dfuse technologies","city":"Fairfax","state":"VA","isRemote":true,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-08-06T13:26:03.242Z","occupations":[{"code":"15-1299.08","title":"Computer Systems Engineers/Architects","slug":"computer-systems-engineers-architects"},{"code":"15-1252.00","title":"Software Developers","slug":"software-developers"},{"code":"15-1299.05","title":"Information Security Engineers","slug":"information-security-engineers"}],"industries":[{"code":"541512","title":"Computer Systems Design Services","slug":"computer-systems-design-services"},{"code":"541511","title":"Custom Computer Programming Services","slug":"custom-computer-programming-services"},{"code":"513210","title":"Software Publishers","slug":"software-publishers"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"SecDevOps Lead – REMOTE","description":"Feel free to send your resume directly to Careers@dfusetech.com.\n\nJob Title: SecDevOps Lead\nDfuse Technologies is an award-winning digital transformation company.
