This role focuses on Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Auto, and General Liability, with exposure to loss-sensitive and loss-rated structures.ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Business Administration, Math, or in a related discipline. At least 3-5 years of experience in commercial insurance, underwriting support, or rating.  Experience with casualty lines (WC, Auto, GL) preferred. Familiarity with NCCI, WCIRB, and/or ISO (a plus).SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:Strong understanding of casualty insurance coverages, endorsements, and underwriting conceptsExperience working with Insurity Policy Decisions, DuckCreek, Guidewire or similar insurance underwriting and policy administration platforms (preferred)Knowledge of ISO rating methodologies, underwriting guidelines, and policy administration workflowsAbility to review and interpret carrier requirements, coverage restrictions, and policy languageExperience processing policy transactions including renewals, endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and issuance supportExperience utilizing Insurity systems or equivalent underwriting and policy administration platformsExperience working with captive insurance companies, fronting carriers, MGAs or alternative risk structures (preferred)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong skills in Microsoft Office, especially using Excel and Word, and other on-line computer systemsOrganization, planning and prioritization skillsStrong analytical, problem solving and judgment skillsStrong customer service orientationCommitment to company valuesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Support underwriting through management of policy-level transactions across casualty lines of businessProcess and coordinate renewals, endorsements, policy changes, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and issuance activitiesReview policies, endorsements, and underwriting documentation for accuracy and compliance with underwriting guidelines and carrier requirementsAssist with pricing, rating, and underwriting analysis using ISO and carrier methodologiesAnalyze underwriting, claims, and financial data to support captive program performance evaluationsSupport profitability analysis and portfolio reporting for captive insurance programsPrepare quotes, binders, and policy documentationCoordinate with carrier partners on risk selection and pricing inputsCommunicate with brokers and internal teams to gather information and move accounts forwardAssist with loss studies, renewal analysis, and other underwriting support projectsMaintain strong service standards and support client and carrier relationships PRIORITIES: Casualty underwriting support and policy administration, coverage/endorsement analysis, cross-functional communication and collaboration.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
