This position is well suited for someone who enjoys working with technical data, supporting engineers and suppliers, troubleshooting process issues, and ensuring engineering documentation is accurate and completed on schedule.\n\nIn this role, you will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and other cross-functional teams to process CAD data, technical drawings, engineering changes, and related documentation. You will also help support proprietary engineering systems, train users, investigate data or process issues, and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and delivery.\n\n_*Key Responsibilities*_\n\n*\\*\\*\\*Entry Level\\*\\*\\**\n\n* Process technical engineering documents and CAD data according to established work instructions and procedures.\n* Perform database entry, data validation, quality checks, document bundling, and release activities within proprietary engineering systems.\n* Review technical information for completeness and accuracy before release.\n* Work directly with engineers to follow up on technical documents or data that require corrections, updates, or additional information.\n* Process and coordinate manufacturing and supplier Engineering Change Requests, ensuring required technical information and CAD data are properly submitted and tracked.\n* Support suppliers with technical drawing and approval drawing submission processes.\n* Coordinate engineering data and document release activities to help ensure program and development milestones are achieved on schedule.\n* Administer a proprietary engineering data transmission system, including investigating system-generated errors and coordinating with responsible departments to resolve issues.\n* Track open errors and action items through completion to ensure engineering information moves through the required workflow without unnecessary delays.\n* Troubleshoot process and system-related issues using critical thinking and root-cause problem-solving techniques.\n* Identify opportunities to improve processes related to cost, quality, accuracy, efficiency, and delivery.\n* Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, training materials, and job aids.\n* Provide system and process training to engineers, suppliers, and other end users.\n* Support users with questions related to engineering data systems, processes, and technical information submission requirements.\n* Create, maintain, and update system user accounts and access permissions.\n* Collaborate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and other cross-functional teams in a culturally diverse work environment.\n* Perform additional duties and project support activities as assigned.\n\n_*Qualifications*_\n\n* Associate degree or other 2-year technical degree preferred.\n* 2+ years of relevant experience in engineering data coordination, technical documentation, manufacturing support, product development, CAD/drawing release, document control, or a related field preferred.\n* Basic understanding of vehicle systems, components, or automotive product structure preferred.\n* Experience working with engineering drawings, CAD data, technical documentation, engineering changes, or product lifecycle data is highly desirable.\n* Experience supporting engineering or manufacturing environments is preferred.\n* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Windows-based applications, and web-based business systems.\n* Ability to quickly learn proprietary engineering systems, processes, and workflows.\n* Strong critical-thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\n* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify data, documentation, and process discrepancies.\n* Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.\n* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\n* Strong customer-service mindset and ability to effectively support engineers, suppliers, and other system users.\n* Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while taking ownership of assigned tasks through completion.\n* Strong follow-up skills with the ability to track outstanding issues and ensure timely resolution.\n* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with culturally diverse teams.\n* Ability to work flexible hours when business needs or workload require additional support.\n\n\\*\\*\\*1510104\\*\\*\\*\n\n*Company Overview*\nAdapt Technology is a US-based engineering and staffing firm dedicated to providing innovative solutions across multiple industries, including aerospace, automotive, medical, and consumer products.
