This position is primarily responsible for engaging community organizations, partners, and local leaders to promote awareness of the organization’s services and to build strategic partnerships that support and advance the mission. Through effective communication, outreach, and collaboration, the Liaison serves as a key ambassador for the organization within the community.Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to:Develop and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, coalitions, service providers, and other stakeholdersRepresent the organization at community meetings, events, and forums to promote programs, services, and recovery-oriented initiativesIdentify opportunities for collaboration and partnership that align with organizational goals and enhance service deliveryCoordinate outreach efforts to increase community awareness, engagement, and referral pathwaysConduct regular meetings and presentations with referral partners to provide detailed information about our treatment services and the benefits of collaboration.Serve as a point of contact and subject matter expert of our program for community partners, ensuring timely communication and follow-upCollaborate with internal departments to align community feedback with program development and improvement effortsAssist in planning and supporting community education events, presentations, and outreach campaignsTrack and document community engagement activities, partnerships, and outcomes; prepare reports as requestedAssist in developing the facility’s comprehensive business development plan, both short and long termParticipate and support employee surveys to promote cooperative, interactive, supportive, and collective entrepreneurshipCooperates in and supports LBHS's quality and performance improvement activities and initiativesPromote culturally responsive, inclusive, and trauma-informed engagement practicesPerform other duties as assignedRequired Experience/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a clinical field, or equivalent experienceMinimum of two (2) years of experience in working in behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, or recovery-oriented systems of careValid State of Ohio Driver's License, insurance, reliable vehicleAbility to regularly drive to off-site meetings, community partner locations, outreach events, and referral appointmentsAbility to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends as neededMust pass BCI check, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug screenDesired Experience/Certifications:Prior experience in business development, referral development, or external relations within a clinical or nonprofit environmentKnowledge of local community resources, referral networks, and service providers within the regionExperience conducting presentations, trainings, or community education sessionsFamiliarity with CRM systems, referral tracking platforms, or outreach databasesDemonstrated success building and sustaining strategic partnershipsLocation: Columbus, OHCompensation: $58,000 - $75,000 annuallyOur benefits package includes paid time off (PTO and sick time), paid holidays, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), life insurance, paid continuing education with supervision, parental leave, and eligibility for loan forgiveness programs.LBHS is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, disability status, genetics, gender identity and/or expression, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.LBHS adheres to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act as amended, Ohio Civil Rights Act, and all applicable rules and regulations.
