Since 1903.\nAre you looking for the right opportunity to establish your career?\nWe are growing and need talented team players to join us!\nJOB SUMMARY\nThe Quality Control Shift Manager will facilitate efficient production operations by planning, leading, and implementing quality assurance (QA) programs.\nEssential Duties\nRun day-to-day operations\nMaintain policy compliance and safety standards on the floor\nDistribute all necessary tasks and duties during each shift in a fair and effective manner?\nResolve immediate staff disputes and coach team performance\nAdjust staffing on the fly for sudden worker callouts\nUnderstands and supports all distinct quality control roles across the entire department\nWhen needed, fill in for Quality Control Technician role\nConduct regular internal audits\nQC breakdown of nonconforming products and materials\nFix immediate technical issues\nEnsure department goals are met\nVerify proper documentation on production paperwork\nProvide instruction to production personnel on nonconforming product/material correction\nEnsure facility wide adherence to the ISO 9001 standard\nParticipate in weekly management meetings to discuss goals, progress, and any issues in need of resolution\nEscalate severe incidents like injuries or theft to the Manager\nEnsuring that everyone has their PPE on\nEnsuring that LOTO and Do Not Operate Procedures are being followed\nEnsuring that if anyone is using a MEWP, they are using it as intended and wearing the proper PPE\nEnsure that anyone working at a height has on their fall protection\nIf there is an incident, then understand what is expected as far as an incident investigation and procedures for Productivity Edge and notifications\nEnsure that forklift drivers are operating the lifts safety\nGeneral safety recognition\nResponsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices; build productive internal/external working relationships\nOther duties as assigned, according to the changing needs of the business\nRequired Qualifications\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nThorough understanding of quality control standards and methodology.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong supervisory and leadership skills.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.\nBachelor’s degree in related industrial, scientific, or business field\nAt least three years of related experience in manufacturing and production required.\nMaster’s degree in related industrial, scientific, or business field – preferred.\nWork Environment + Physical Requirements\nThis job operates in a non-temperature-controlled industrial plant environment. These conditions can vary from hot and cold extremes. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving production machinery and vibration. Moderate noise can be expected from forklifts, machinery, trains, and trucks. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. Regular work will be performed near other workers and production machinery.?
