We value our professional and caring employees who are dedicated to improving people’s lives and we want YOU to join our team!What you will be doing: Responsible for conducting direct recruitment activities, and interfacing with other outreach contractors in compliance with government and management directivesEssential FunctionsConduct direct recruitment activities, including public speaking; develop linkages with referral sources such as human services agencies, recreation centers, youth organizations and churches; participate in center tours; contact potential enrollees to explore enrollmentArrange for reception of candidates upon acceptance to the programFollow-up on student progress, e.g., length of stay and separationPrepare, schedule and provide outreach presentations in the assigned area; provide outreach presentations in support of the regional outreach effortsMaintain accountability logs of organizations contacted, individuals contacted, referrals to screening agencies and subsequent enrollmentsGenerate sufficient amount of prospects to sustain OBS. Coordinate and communicate current OBS levels and ongoing needs to maintain OBSRefer youth to designated screening or other support agencies, as appropriatePrepare necessary and required reports related to the recruitment effortAssist with placement activitiesInitiate applications with interested prospects during outreach eventsSupport applicants with document upload, as neededPromote the development of career success standards by modeling appropriate behaviors, mentoring students when necessary and monitoring both positive and negative behaviors through interventionsSupport, promote, and enforce the Job Corps’ Zero Tolerance PolicyMaintain accountability of property; adhere to safety practices.It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or closely related field; or an associate’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or closely related field and two years related experience requiredExperience may include successful Job Corps outreach and admissions experience or successful outreach and admissions experience with other youth development programsA Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
