In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, implementing, supporting, and documenting solutions for assigned applications across the organization. You welcome a challenge and want to provide next level experiences to every individual that uses our systems.\nWhat you’ll do:\nDesign, write, test, implement, and document solutions for assigned program modules\nCollaborate with project teams and other Software Engineers to provide technical support\nSupport assigned IT systems/applications by troubleshooting and resolving defects\nAlways take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes\nWhat you’ll need:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, in a related field, or equivalent experience\nDemonstrated ability to independently identify program issues and develop the appropriate solution, typically requiring at least 2 years of experience\nStrong understanding of software development principles, programming concepts, best practices, and development methodologies\nDemonstrated strong experience with Java and SQL\nExperience designing and building scalable enterprise applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture\nAbility to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using unit and integration testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito\nStrong experience designing, developing, and deploying RESTful microservices, including API design, Spring Security, JWT/OAuth2 authentication, service-to-service communication, and event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ\nExperience working with relational and NoSQL databases, as well as containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift\nStrong troubleshooting and debugging skills across application, infrastructure, and system layers\nKnowledge of resilient microservice patterns such as Circuit Breaker, Retry, Timeout, and Bulkhead to ensure system reliability and fault tolerance\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams\nAdditional Preferred Skills:\nExperience working with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions\nHaving knowledge on Banking and Financial is preferred\nExperience with API Gateway technologies\nExposure to AI-assisted software development tools\nExposure to front-end and mobile application development technologies such as Angular, Kotlin, Xcode, or similar frameworks is a plus.\nOur Benefits:\nAt Frost, we care about your health, your family, and your future and strive to have our benefits reflect that.
