General Laborer - Part Time Our client, a reputable Flooring Business, is seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join their team. As a General Laborer, you will be an essential part of the construction support team, assisting with flooring installations and related tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic, which will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment. Location: St. Marys, PA Pay Rate: $15.00/hr Shift: Typically Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 or 5:00 PM, with hours varying weekly What's the Job? Assist with redoing flooring in residential homes, including carpet, laminate, and vinyl flooring Support installation of underlayment and subflooring as needed Transport tools and materials to job sites using provided transportation Utilize basic hand and power tools safely and effectively Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to dress code standards What's Needed? Reliable transportation to the shop and willingness to be transported to job sites Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift; team lifting for heavier items Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure Previous construction or flooring experience is a plus but not mandatory Good attendance and willingness to learn new skills What's in it for me?
