Server/Waiter

Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable. Your main goal will be to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Duties: - Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner - Present menus and provide detailed information about our food and beverage offerings - Take accurate food and drink orders from guests - Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals - Serve food and beverages to guests with professionalism and attention to detail - Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns - Process payment transactions accurately, including handling cash and processing credit card payments - Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including setting up tables and replenishing supplies as needed - Collaborate with other restaurant staff members to provide excellent customer service Skills: - Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience for guests - Sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure - Knowledge of food industry standards and practices - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Cash handling experience with accuracy in processing payments - Basic food preparation knowledge, including proper handling of utensils and equipment - Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods - Basic math skills for accurate order taking, bill calculation, and making change Requirements: - Previous experience as a Server or in the restaurant industry is preferred but not required - Must be at least 18 years old or as per legal requirements for serving alcohol - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays If you are passionate about providing exceptional service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, we would love to hear from you.
