Our more than 6,000 employees are proud to work at our state-of-the-art sawmills and other facilities, including: manufacturing, custom wood-framed windows, fabrication, millwork, veneer, cogeneration, trucking, forestry, and other operations.\n\nCurrently, are seeking a qualified Electrician Tech to work collaboratively with our millwork division based in Red Bluff, California.\n\nAbout the Position\n\nInstall, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in manufacturing facility\n\nMaintain all components required to control machinery, including switches, sensors, programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, and operate interface units\n\nRecognize and effectively identify hazards and correct electrical defects\n\nPerform preventative maintenance on all electrical systems and equipment\n\nInspect and maintain motors, switches, junction boxes, switch panels, circuit breakers, transformers, fuse panels, and lighting\n\nRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical installations\n\nInstall electrical conduit and pull wire\n\nMaintain efficiency and safety of all plant electrical circuits, assembles, and equipment\n\nTroubleshoot and install encoders, linear transducers, vision systems, and other advanced sensors\n\nIdentify and help implement process improvements to optimize performance and production\n\nEffectively troubleshoot issues for best resolution while staying calm in stressful situations\n\nCommunicate effectively, comprehend, and follow complicated verbal and written instructions\n\nPerform general maintenance in a safe and efficient manner and maintain a clean work area\n\nWork may consist of overtime during busy production times\n\nQualifications\n\n2 years’ recent verifiable related work history or equivalent education\n\nUnderstanding of industrial electrical safety, MCCs, three-phase power, running conduit, lighting, electrical, and hydraulic systems required\n\nFamiliarity with programmable logic controllers and their programming, preferable\n\nRead and understand blueprints and circuit diagrams\n\nAbility to manage time and priorities under demanding circumstances\n\nExcellent communication, listening, and reasoning skills\n\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment\n\nProven commitment to safety and company policy\n\nWhy Join Our Team?\nBecause this is more than an invitation, it's a commitment to offer opportunities for personal and professional growth to everyone!
