With a combined legacy of resilience, Magnera will build personal partnerships that withstand an ever-changing world.\nResponsibilities:\nJOB SUMMARY:\nThe EHS Systems & Programs Coordinator provides administrative, technical, and project support for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs, management systems, and continuous improvement initiatives across Magnera manufacturing sites. This role assists site and corporate EHS teams with data management, reporting, training coordination, compliance activities, system maintenance, and implementation of EHS projects that support a safe, compliant, and productive workplace.\nThe developmental position works closely with site EHS leaders, operations teams, and site employees to support safety initiatives, track performance metrics, maintain EHS records, coordinate communications and training, and help ensure consistent execution of Magnera EHS programs and standards.\n\nJOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupport site implementation of EHS programs, initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.\nMaintain EHS databases, software systems, records, and documentation to ensure accurate and timely reporting.\nAssist with incident, near-miss, corrective action, and safety observation tracking and follow-up.\nCollect, compile, and analyze EHS data for dashboards, scorecards, and management reporting.\nCoordinate employee training records, safety meetings, communications, and awareness campaigns.\nSupport site inspections, audits, risk assessments, and compliance activities.\nAssist with implementation of EHS software tools, system enhancements, and user support activities.\nParticipate in safety culture initiatives, employee engagement programs, and site recognition activities.\nSupport sustainability, environmental, and regulatory compliance reporting requirements as assigned.\nCoordinate project activities, action-item tracking, and progress reporting for plant and regional EHS initiatives.\nAssist in developing standard work, procedures, presentations, and training materials.\nPartner with operations teams to identify and implement practical improvements that strengthen safety performance and operational discipline.\nQualifications:\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.\n0-3 years of experience in EHS, manufacturing, operations, compliance, project coordination, or a related field.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.\nAbility to collect, analyze, and present data in a clear and meaningful manner.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively across functions.\nSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to learn EHS programs, management systems, and manufacturing processes.\nInternship, co-op, or work experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or EHS environment.\nFamiliarity with EHS management systems, safety programs, or compliance requirements.\nExperience using data management, reporting, or workflow software.\nExposure to continuous improvement, Lean, or operational excellence concepts.\nCOMPETENCIES:\nPlanning & Organizing: Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks to meet defined goals- uses resources wisely. Can effectively direct work flow.\nRigorous: Ensures accuracy and is able to monitor the quality of work and processes while still meeting demands /commitments. Can perform tasks consistently and conscientiously.\nSelf Learner: Ability to identify own development and learning needs. Can take the steps needed to improve skills on the job.
