A well-qualified Air Export Agent will process and execute the transportation documents for export cargo consignments while both exceeding the client's service requests and ensuring maximum profitability for the company. Responsibilities will include determining routing of Biopharma services and international freight, review of all documentation and forms, maintaining communication with clients, and review of export process on a regular basis. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\r\nSubmitting shipment pre-advices and export documents to overseas agents\r\nVerifying documentation and in compliance with US and foreign government regulations, export declarations, certificates of origin and in related documents\r\nMonitoring departures, shipments in transit, arrivals, providing Proof of Delivery to customers\r\nProvide excellent and timely customer service by proactively informing clients of the status of their shipments and tasks that require special handling or expediting\r\nMaintain client profile and databases, excellent service to internal and external customers\r\nSubmitting AES details for all shipments\r\nMaintain warehouse activities\r\nNegotiate rates with carriers and achieve consistent profit\r\nProvide quotes to customers and international agents\r\nDevelop and maintain excellent service to internal and external customers\r\nBiopharma services SOP and temperature control on special freight\r\nCross training in domestic services\r\nRecognize file details\r\nSet up the file\r\nRate the file (including costs)\r\nComplete the export paperwork\r\nBreakdown and distribute documents\r\nLabels, AES.
