{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"9815deea7c9b94a42e942565","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9815deea7c9b94a42e942565","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9815deea7c9b94a42e942565","title":"Assembler","description":"Essential Functions:\nPerform production tasks per training in the following areas: cables/cable assemblies, swannecks, water coolers, air-cooled MIG guns, and basic brazing, basic machine shop operations.\nRead and interpret job order documentation and related assembly drawings, work instructions, and specifications.\nDuring and after assembly, inspect work for conformity to quality standards and job order documentation.\nTest assembled products to ensure functionality and performance.\nOn job completion, complete and distribute job and test documentation according to company procedure.\nFollow all safety precautions when using tools, machinery, and chemicals.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nRotate within different production areas as needed to meet fluctuating demands.\nReport on issues, malfunctions, and defective parts.\nWork with other team members to increase efficiency and performance.\nAdhere to all company policies and procedures.\nAdditional Responsibilities:\nPerform other tasks as necessary under the direction and supervision of the Production Manager.\nAssist with training of other employees.\nPerform material handling and equipment maintenance tasks as needed.\nPackage and prepare products for shipping.\nQualifications:\nBasic arithmetic ability and counting skills.\nAbility to read and understand order documentation, work instructions, drawings, and specifications.\nWriting skills sufficient to complete job-processing documentation accurately and legibly.\nAbility to make accurate measurements, including metric measurements.\nVisual ability sufficient to perform tasks accurately, safely, and efficiently.\nGood communication skills.\nCapable of performing all the above essential functions safely in a variety of working positions including standing and sitting for extended periods.\nMust be capable of lifting 50 pounds safely without assistance, and capable of pulling/pushing approx. 40 pounds.\nManual dexterity, good mechanical aptitude.\nBasic understanding of quality control principles.\nWillingness to comply with all company policies and procedures.\nPositive attitude, making necessary changes to ensure continuous improvement.\nAbility to remain focused and complete tasks on time.\nSelf-motivated, and able to work with minimum supervision.\nPunctual and reliable.\nMeans of transportation to and from work.\nPay: $16.00 -
