About the Operation This is a highly automated, modern facility where the focus is more on coaching teams, ensuring safety, improving processes, and tracking operational performance—not turning wrenches and putting out fires. Youe ll work in a clean, well-organized environment where teaching and mentoring are just as important as production results.
What You’ll Be Doing Oversee day-to-day operations for a mixing and blending department producing consumer goods
Supervise 10+ hourly and salaried employees
Coordinate with supervisors across other shifts to ensure alignment and coverage
Focus on coaching, safety, tracking OEE, and identifying ways to improve output and consistency
Assign tasks, schedule production, and track performance against KPIs
Ensure all work is performed to high safety and quality standards
Provide real-time feedback, mentoring, and training for your team
Approve time off, manage schedules, and resolve employee issues when needed
Collaborate with maintenance and other departments to reduce downtime and improve performance
Document activities, shift data, and production trends in company systems
What You Bring BA or BS degree preferred, or 5+ years of supervisory experience in food, chemical, or consumer product manufacturing
4+ years of manufacturing experience in mixing, blending, or other related operations
Prefer background in coaching teams within an automated production environment
Solid understanding of OEE tracking, continuous improvement, and team metrics
Computer proficiency, including MS Office, and experience with ERP/WMS systems
Excellent communication skills with a steady, supportive leadership style
A proactive mindset and strong organizational skills
