{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"97f86d7343108071db2ec911","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/97f86d7343108071db2ec911","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/97f86d7343108071db2ec911","title":"Shift Manager - Security","description":"Responsibilities:\n\nDirects and oversees the performance of the Security Officers\n\nEnsures that all Security staff provides exceptional customer service\n\nEnsures that proper staffing coverage is present as needed, particularly during peak hours and other critical times.\n\nEnsures that all officers assigned are present and facility is under control.\n\nManages and participates in the daily drop pick up, and the armored car detail\n\nResponds to activity requiring security assistance or attention and directs staff as needed on a situational basis.\n\nResponds to emergency or volatile situations and directs staff accordingly.\n\nTestifies for Bally ’ s Dover, at any criminal or civil proceeding as directed.\n\nEvaluates upon sight, and responds appropriately to persons requiring first aid or CPR.\n\nInterviews, selects, hire and retain superior employees.\n\nCoached and counsels subordinate employees\n\nOversees and ensures the timely completion of employee evaluations.\n\nConducts training with subordinates, both formally and informally.\n\nIssues discipline and terminate employees as appropriate.\n\nRewards and recognizes superior performers.\n\nExercises considerable judgement in determining priorities, managing projects and assignments, delegating work, and overall accomplishment of goals and tasks.\n\nManages departmental budget, maximizing revenue and controlling expenses as appropriate\n\nManages payroll and labor costs\n\nMaintains relevant records and oversees the maintenance of records as appropriate for the department\n\nDevelops and implements strategic goals, objectives and business plans for the department\n\nEnsures compliance with relevant laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures\n\nMaintains up-to-date knowledge of industry and competition\n\nEnsures effective communication within the department and company\n\nEstablishes and implements customer service standards\n\nHolds subordinates accountable for established performance expectations\n\nMotivates and develops staff; provides advice and guidance as appropriate\n\nOversees and ensures that employees work safely and follow all safety rules.\n\nPerforms other duties as assigned\n\nWork Environment:\n\nMust be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled\n\nAdditional Benefits:\n\nEnjoy 30 consecutive days of free rides for new hires with DART and earn reimbursements via Delaware Commute Solutions\n\nStarting Compensation:\n\n$45,500.00\n\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
