DataOps Engineer (Snowflake)

And we're looking for someone who gets that.We're hiring a Snowflake Administrator (DataOps) to join our Enterprise Data team at our home office in Greenville, SC.What's your purpose here?You'll be the technical backbone of our Snowflake data platform — keeping it healthy, performant, and secure. You'll partner with architects, data engineers, and business teams to evaluate new technologies, drive cost optimization, and build the kind of data infrastructure that makes a real difference. You won't just maintain the status quo — you'll push it forward.What you'll do:🔹 Manage and maintain Snowflake databases, warehouses, and roles🔹 Implement robust security, RBAC controls, and access governance🔹 Monitor performance, tune queries, and drive cost optimization🔹 Build and maintain Kafka-based data pipelines and infrastructure🔹 Develop and execute data loading, migration, and integration strategies🔹 Author CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure with Python and SQL🔹 Manage IaC tooling (Terraform/TerraGrunt/Atlantis) and DevOps processes🔹 Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24×7 operational supportWhat you bring:✅ 5+ years of Snowflake Platform Administration in an enterprise environment (required)✅ Hands-on Kafka experience — topics, producers, consumers, Python-based integrations (required)✅ 2+ years of DevOps experience with IaC tools (Terraform, TerraGrunt, or similar)✅ Deep expertise in Snowflake advanced features: RBAC, resource monitors, CortexAI, Streamlit, cloning, data sharing, and cost optimization✅ Proficiency in Python, SQL, Linux, and ETL/Scheduler tools✅ Experience authoring CI/CD pipelines and managing automated build & deployment processes ✅ Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodology✅ Strong written and verbal communication skills — you can translate technical complexity for any audienceWhy Purpose Financial?We believe our people are our greatest asset.
