The Puller/Packer is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of all orders filled.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCollect parts for customer orders\nPack orders to customer specifications\nFollow company processes and procedures\nWork closely with other pullers/packers to ensure orders are processed on time\nNotify needed personnel of shortages on individual orders\nDaily reports needed to perform job to the highest level of accuracy\nRecord amounts of materials or items being pulled/packed via appropriate procedures\nAssist in counting of physical inventory\nADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:\nMaintain a safe work environment in accordance with established policies and practices.\nWill assist with loading trucks and packing orders as needed.\nSweep, dust and mop.\nOrganize work area for orderliness at all times.\nBecause of the changing nature of our business, this job description will inevitably change. The employee will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within his/her capabilities as directed by management.\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:\nHigh School degree or equivalent\nExcellent communication skills.\nStrong interpersonal skills.\nStrong attention to detail, organization and follow-up skills.\nAbility to handle multiple tasks and work under timely deadlines.\nBasic computer skills with familiarity of MS Word and Excel - Outlook, Internet\nAbility to lift 50 pounds and to push and pull a heavy load using a pallet jack.\nMust maintain training for all equipment including, but not limited to, fork truck, pallet jack, order pickers, etc.\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\nWorking conditions are a warehouse with a cement floor. Temperatures are warm in the summer and cool in the winter. Requires walking or standing for long periods of time. Will require ability to climb ladders while retrieving inventory. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
