The Medical Assistant will support daily clinical operations by preparing exam rooms, taking and recording vital signs, assisting with examinations and minor procedures, and ensuring patient comfort throughout each visit. Responsibilities include managing patient flow, updating electronic or paper medical records, and assisting with scheduling, check-in, and other front-office tasks as needed. The role also involves preparing and labeling specimens, maintaining supplies and equipment, and following infection control and safety protocols. The Medical Assistant will collaborate closely with providers, nurses, and administrative staff to support efficient, high-quality patient care.Qualifications Competence in Medical Assisting, including supporting examinations, taking vital signs, and assisting with office procedures.Working knowledge of Medical Terminology to accurately communicate and document clinical information.Experience in a Medical Office setting, including familiarity with scheduling, check-in processes, and basic administrative duties.Demonstrated Patient Care skills, with a focus on professionalism, empathy, and maintaining patient comfort and confidentiality.Ability to manage and update Medical Records accurately, whether electronic or paper-based, in line with privacy and compliance standards.High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program strongly preferred.Current Medical Assistant certification or registration preferred; BLS/CPR certification a plus.Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities, with reliability in an on-site clinical environment.
