Regional Sales Manager - Commercial Laundry and Linen Service Clients

Our client is a global textile manufacturer and supplier and is seeking a Sales Manager that has experience in the Linen/Uniform service industry (aka commercial laundries).This Sales Manager will sell and promote textiles (table linens, bed linens, towels, aprons, etc.) to industrial laundry facilities. You are responsible for discovering opportunities, establishing new relationships, nurturing existing relationships and closing deals.The Territory: Northeast US - Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Maine*Candidates must reside in one of these states, preferably near a major airportTravel: Up to 50%. Reps typically travel up to 2 weeks per month, departing Sunday evenings or early Monday morning, traveling home on Friday.Duties include:Achieving aggressive revenue growth in assigned commercial laundry accounts.Developing & presenting an actionable and measurable account penetration strategy including, but not limited to:Total sales potential in your territoriesQuarterly sales forecastsCurrent market share and market positioning (compared to major competitors)Strategy for gaining market shareUse of SalesForce (CRM tool) to update upper management on sales opportunitiesAnnual presentation at headquarters with review of past performance & strategy for following yearEstablish and achieve quarterly and annual sales and performance goals.Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to executive leadership teamIf necessary, attend conferences and seminars, representing company and building/nurturing business relationships and executing appropriate follow upWork closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programsManage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunitiesRequirements:Experience in the commercial laundry industry (even if it's not sales-related)3+ years of sales experience is preferredExperience growing a territory and achieving a new/add on business sales quotaCollege degree is preferredAbility to work effectively with multiple business departments in a fast-paced environmentStrong command on written and verbal communicationMust be willing to engage in continuous learningBenefits:WHY JOIN THIS COMPANY?Competitive base salary: $80-90k dependent on experienceAggressive, uncapped commission plan (expected first year commission of at least $30k)$130k+ is within reach with performance!401k with company matchMedical and dental insurancePaid time off including vacation time, paid holidays, and personal daysTravel and vehicle expense accountOngoing training and development.
