This position involves enhancing and delivering technology products within the Consumer & Community Banking sector, focusing on building secure and scalable solutions while driving best practices in software development and AI integration.Responsibilities:• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems• Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others• Sets up and manages POC's to evaluate the feasibility and impact of new technologies and methodologies, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements• Drives the adoption of best practices in software development and AI integration, ensuring high standards of quality, security, and efficiency are maintained across all projects• Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture• Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectQualifications:Required:• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.• Advanced in one or more programming language(s) such as Java, Python• Experience in Generative AI• Advanced knowledge of software application development and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, etc.)• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, etc.)• Experience in building enterprise applications with high availability and performance using Java, Python, Spring, Kafka, Elastic Search, Distributed Cache.• Understanding of machine learning principles, especially in natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning, to effectively work with LLMs.Preferred:• Experience working at code level.• A keen interest in staying ahead of modern development trends and experimenting with emerging technologies such as AI and Machine Learning.Company:hackajob exists to bring great people together with great companies, helping them continue to drive the world forward.
