If you want to join an industry-leading company that focuses on your professional growth and development, we’d love to hear from you!\n\nThis position will manage new product launches by collaborating with customers, vendors, and internal departments to meet project needs and is responsible for the development of production tooling that meets customer requirements.\n\nPay is $100k - $115k based on experience.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOptimize casting manufacturing process with Product Engineers utilizing CAD and simulation software\nDesign and oversee construction of tooling through testing into production release\nFollow up and assist in the resolution of production problems related to tooling.\nEnsure quality of work, efficient material and workflow, proper use and care of equipment and machines and proper application of production methods.\nTrack samples, initiate corrective action request and maintain communication with customers and corporate Sales on sample status required.\nAttend sample, Product Impact Engineering (PIE) and design review meetings\nMaintain adequate supply of raw materials, production supplies and tools to support continuous operations\nMaintain related inventory records, as required.\nEnsure tools and equipment are maintained in proper working order.\nMaintain open communications with employees and work with employees to mutually resolve problems to enhance morale and promote a union-free environment.\nMaintain conformance with Company policies, work rules and regulations, coaching employees and /or initiating disciplinary actions, as required.\nMaintain awareness of improved operational methods, production processes, or equipment which improve quality and efficiency and reduce cost.\nEnforce the proper use of safety equipment and maintain departmental housekeeping to produce a safe work environment.\nCoach employees to reinforce safe work practices.\nMaintain communications with other shifts and departments to promote efficient operations.\nWhy You’ll Love Working for Us:\n\nWellness Programs and access to Worksite Wellness Center, including family members.\nComprehensive Benefit Package including Medical, Dental, Vision coverages.\nInsurance: Life, Supplemental Life, Short and Long-Term Disability.\n401(K) Match\nPaid Vacation and Holidays\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nPPE allowances\nWhat We Need From You:\n\nBachelor’s in business administration or engineering or equivalent.\n5 to 7 years of experience.\nProficiency in Excel.\nExcellent root cause/corrective action and problem-solving skills\nGood written and verbal communication skills\nAs a Fair Chance employer, Grede is committed to considering individuals who are rebuilding after past challenges.
