In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components and systems in a manufacturing or production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to start their career in assembly, with opportunities for training and growth within the organization.\n\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:\nAssemble mechanical and electrical components according to 3D model, work instructions, blueprints, and schematics.\nPerform wiring, soldering, crimping, and basic mechanical assembly as needed.\nUse hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assembly tasks.\nInspect assembled products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.\nIdentify and address basic assembly defects or errors, escalating more complex issues to the supervisor.\nConduct basic functional tests on assembled systems and components.\nIdentify and repair minor issues or ensure proper escalation for more complex problems.\nMaintain neat and organized workstations, tools, and materials.\nAccurately complete required documentation, such as work logs or production records.\nFollow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.\nMonitor equipment and work areas to maintain safe and clean working conditions.\nWork cooperatively with colleagues in a team-oriented environment.\nCan be self-sufficient with minimal supervision.\nParticipate in on-the-job training and development to enhance assembly skills.\n\nQualifications:\n\nEducation:\nHigh school diploma or GED is required; vocational or technical training in electrical or mechanical assembly is a plus.\n\nExperience:\nFamiliarity with electrical or mechanical assembly processes and tools (such as Band saws, hole drilling, Disk sander, Bench grinder, Arbor press ect.), On-the-job training will be provided.\nCNC, CAD, CAM experience (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor or fusion) is a plus.\n3D printing experience is a plus\nBrother and Brady label machine experience is a plus\n\nTechnical Skills:\nBasic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions (preferred).\nComfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices (e.g., calipers, multimeters).\n\nSoft Skills:\nStrong attention to detail and quality.\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\nWillingness to learn and take initiative.\nMicrosoft office 365.\n\nLanguage Ability:\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
