We are a growing company, devoted to a safe working environment, focused on Customer and Employee success, and driven by Continuous Improvement.We are growing the World's Best Company in Delavan & Cudahy.MicroPrecision LLC has a history of steady employment (our average employee tenure is 8.2 years), a stable team-focused workforce, offers excellent working conditions, a climate-controlled facility & state-of-the-art equipment.POSITION PURPOSE:Under the direction of the Materials Supervisor, the Materials Handler-Packer is responsible for the receipt of all goods and merchandise, the warehousing and inventory of all raw material, and preparing parts for shipments.Full-TimeSalary Range:$17-$20 Hourly DOEShifts Available: M-F1st shift: 6:30 am - 3:00 pmESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Receive all raw material, UPS and FedEx packagesVerification of material received against purchase ordersInspect raw material and issue RIR tags; request inspection if requiredMove material using fork truck and / or combi lift / manual carts to appropriate areasAssist in maintaining inventory controlOperate sawResponsible for move tickets of raw materialManually wash manufactured parts by lifting parts placed in a basket, dipping in solvent and rinsing, blowing off excess with the use of an air hose and by using degreaser and spinnerPack parts for shipment as assignedMove material using fork truck to appropriate areaWork with Quality Assurance on priority parts for daily inspectionRESPONSIBILITIES:This list of responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management deems necessary. Employees are and will be held accountable for all duties of the job.Daily entering and posting of all raw materialDaily accurate account of raw material inventoryReport non-conforming raw material to Receiving Manager and follow through with MRB instructionsResponsible for supplying material to work centers as neededReceive customer supplied parts, issue inspection and RIR tagsUnderstand routing sheets for parts that require outside operation such as plating, grinding or heat treatingPackage small products or parts in standard containers in shipping areaForm, staple or tape seal boxesMay be required to select, assemble and check ordersStencil or attach shipping and handling instructionsVerifies all work procedures are checkedTumble parts, per routing, by selecting the correct tumbling materials and placing the correct amount in a machineWork with Quality Assurance department to match parts, verify part numbers and distribute parts to next process such as an outside process or finished goodInspect Humphrey parts for metal chips and debris and clear using air hoseMust be quality conscious and continuously look for improvementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. safelyREQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
