This role requires a keen eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow technical instructions and safety protocols to ensure high-quality remanufactured products.\r\nSummary of Essential Job FunctionsAssembly and Disassembly: Assemble and disassemble heavy-duty truck parts and components according to specifications and blueprints.\r\nInspection and Testing: Inspect parts for wear and damage, perform tests to ensure functionality, and identify parts that need repair or replacement.\r\nReconditioning: Clean, repair, and recondition parts using appropriate tools and techniques to restore them to operational condition.\r\nQuality Control: Conduct quality checks on assembled and reconditioned parts to ensure they meet industry standards and company specifications.\r\nDocumentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used, repairs made, and tests conducted.\r\nTool Maintenance: Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition and report any issues to the supervisor.\r\nSafety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.\r\nQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.\r\nProven experience in mechanical assembly or a similar role, preferably in the heavy-duty truck parts industry.\r\nAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.\r\nProficiency with hand and power tools.\r\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.\r\nGood physical stamina and dexterity.\r\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\r\nWork Environment:This position operates in a manufacturing and remanufacturing environment.\r\nThe role requires standing for long periods, lifting heavy parts, and working with various tools and machinery.\r\nPerformance MetricsTask Completion\r\nProductivity / Efficiency\r\nQuality of work\r\nTeamwork\r\nDependability\r\nPhysical DemandsThe physical demands of a Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Assembler position typically include a variety of activities that require both strength and dexterity.
