Its platform provides carrier capacity, transparent pricing, and ongoing expert support across air charter, ground expedited transportation, truckload, less-than-truckload, global forwarding, brokerage, and managed transportation services.About the OpportunityThe Manager, Data and Analytics leads the organization’s data function, overseeing the team, platforms, and strategic roadmap. This role manages data warehouse and reporting initiatives, drives master data management and governance, and serves as the senior escalation point for complex data and reporting challenges. The position directly supports the organization’s ability to deliver reliable data services and make informed business decisions.Responsibilities• Lead and expand the data practice, including team management, standards, and best practices.• Manage a team of DBAs, Data Analysts, and Data Engineers.• Collaborate closely with internal software development teams.• Direct major data warehouse projects from development through rollout.• Serve as the escalation point for complex data, reporting, and database challenges.• Oversee data source integration, Snowflake modeling, SDLC standards, and data quality practices.• Lead the modernization of reporting from SSRS to Power BI and establish reporting governance.• Ensure accuracy and reliability of customer-facing reporting and critical data workflows.• Chair the Data Governance Committee and support enterprise data governance initiatives.• Provide leadership with regular updates on major projects, priorities, and team achievements.• Coach and develop team members while ensuring appropriate backup coverage across the data function.• Manage data backup and retention policies.• Oversee budgeting and resource planning for the data practice.• Assign and manage work in accordance with organizational processes and priorities.Requirements• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, analytics, database administration, or a related field.• At least 3 years of experience managing teams and delivering data-related projects.• Experience with Microsoft Azure, SQL integration, ELT pipelines, Snowflake data modeling, data quality, and SDLC practices.• Proficiency leading reporting initiatives using Power BI and Power Automate.• Experience with Master Data Management and IT data governance.• Experience using AI tools in day-to-day data delivery and operations.• Experience supporting customer-facing reporting and critical account workflows.• Strong experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.• Experience managing offshore or distributed teams.• Transportation or logistics industry experience is advantageous.Pay Range and Compensation Package• Salary range: $140,000–$150,000 per year.Benefits & Perks• 401(k) with employer matching.• Life insurance.• Health, dental, and vision insurance.• Short- and long-term disability insurance.• Paid time off and paid holidays.• Employee assistance and wellness programs.• Paid parental leave.• Employee recognition programs.• Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts.• Tuition reimbursement.• Overtime, differential, and bonus pay.Equal Opportunity Statement:Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
