Job Summary Travel Registered Nurse OR Talented Medical Solutions Full-time, Contract In-Office | Corsicana, TX, United States The Opportunity Travel OR Nurse – Day Shift Schedule: Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM Call Requirement: One weekday per week (3:30 PM – 6:30 AM) One weekend per month (rotating) No block scheduling No floating No RTO blackout dates Position Details: Setting: Operating Room (OR) Patient Ratio: 1:1 Charting: Paper charting Scrubs: Provided Requirements: Licensure: Active RN license (state-specific or compact, as required) Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS Experience: Minimum 2 years recent OR experience Must be able to circulate in multiple specialties, including: General Surgery Endoscopy Robotics Orthopedics Some Vascular cases Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room. Monitor patients' vital signs during surgical procedures. Participate in continuous professional development and training. Support team in achieving performance targets and goals. Collaborate with surgical team to ensure successful operations. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Adapt to new technologies and procedures in the OR. Evaluate and improve patient care processes. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Assist in the preparation and sterilization of surgical instruments. Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment. Educate patients and families about post-operative care. Experience/Qualifications Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. Minimum of 2 years experience as an OR nurse in a hospital setting. Commitment to continuous professional development and learning. Strong understanding of surgical procedures and operating room protocols. Excellent communication skills for patient and team interactions. Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate patient records. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and surgical procedures. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
