At Fasco, we combine a talented team with a culture of honesty and responsiveness to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations.Overview: We are seeking a driven, results-oriented sales professional to generate new business and grow OEM and tier-automotive accounts. This role is designed for a true “hunter” who thrives on building pipeline, winning new opportunities, and expanding customer relationships in a competitive environment.This position works cross-functionally with internal departments including purchasing, quality, and customer service to deliver solutions that align with customer requirements and company objectives. The Direct Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, managing quoting activity, and achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities:New Business Development: • Conduct proactive outbound sales activities focused on identifying and developing new business opportunities. • Maintain a strong “hunter” mindset with a focus on prospecting and expanding the customer base. • Manage the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification through quoting, negotiation, and closing. • Support and grow existing assigned customer accounts while identifying additional opportunities without those accounts. Customer Engagement:• Collaborate directly with customer purchasing, engineering, and quality teams to define project requirements and develop solutions.• Conduct customer meetings, presentations, opportunity reviews, and plant line walks to identify and support new projects.Pipeline & Sales Management:• Manage and maintain a structured sales pipeline to track opportunities and forecast sales activity.• Manage assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall sales budget performance. • Document all sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within the CRM system. Qualifications:B2B sales experience, preferably in Automotive and OEM markets. Strong understanding of selling fasteners and/or c-class components. Excellent communication and presentation skills.Results-oriented with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Self-motivated and able to work independently.Requirements:Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or equal industry experience. 3+ years of experience in direct sales, preferably in a relevant industry.Applicants may be required to lift up to 35lbs occasionally. Travel may account for up to 30% of the work week, including air travel when required.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during customer visits.
