The position will be responsible for the following but not limited too:\n\nThis position is remote.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications using modern frameworks like Spring Boot.\nLead or contribute to the design and architecture of modular, scalable systems.\nDevelop robust APIs and integrate distributed components in a microservices environment.\nConduct unit, integration, and functional testing to ensure high-quality code.\nSupport vulnerability remediation and ensure systems meet cybersecurity compliance standards.\nTroubleshoot complex issues across multiple systems and environments.\nParticipate in code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed.\nProduce clear and concise technical documentation and support materials.\n\nTechnical Skills\n\nProgramming & Frameworks:\nStrong experience with Java, object-oriented design, and Spring Boot.\nFamiliarity with enterprise integration patterns and service-oriented architectures.\nDatabases:\nHands-on experience with SQL Oracle RBDMS and MongoDB databases\nWeb & APIs:\nDeep understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, WebSocket, CSS).\nExperience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.\nDevelopment Tools & Environments:\nComfortable working in Linux environments and using command-line tools.\nProficiency with version control systems such as Git and code reviews.\nProficiency with build tools like Maven.\nDevOps & Cloud Exposure:\nWorking knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.\nExposure to cloud platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS.\nQualifications\n5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD\nCybersecurity workforce certification AIM/IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, CASP+)\nActive Public Trust Clearance\nExperience with Java-based enterprise applications using modern frameworks like Spring Boot.\n\nDesired Qualifications\n\nFamiliarity with Angular or other front-end frameworks.\nExperience with Oracle Cloud, especially in a government environment.\nUnderstanding of AI/ML fundamentals or interest in learning.\nAwareness of prompt engineering concepts for LLM applications.\nAbility to mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices.\n\nDetails\n\nTarget Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000.
