The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IBM z/OS, system monitoring, batch processing, and automated maintenance procedures.\n\n*Key Responsibilities*\n\nMonitor mainframe system consoles and identify unusual conditions or alerts.\n\nStart, stop, and restart system tasks and major subsystems, including CICS, DB2, and IMS.\n\nMonitor production workloads and ensure scheduled jobs complete successfully.\n\nTroubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with system programmers and production control teams.\n\nPerform system startup, shutdown, and restart procedures as required.\n\nSupport automated system monitoring and maintenance activities.\n\nMaintain system stability and follow operational procedures.\n\n*Required Technical Skills*\n\nIBM Mainframe, z/OS, p-Series and z-Series platforms.\n\nJCL, JES2, and Control-M.\n\nCICS, DB2, IMS, and related database technologies.\n\nSystem monitoring tools such as ITM, Tivoli, and NetView.\n\nACF2, SMP/E, REXX, CA SPOOL, BMC tools, VTAM, TCP/IP, HMC, and related mainframe technologies.\n\nLinux/Unix and system troubleshooting.\n\n*Required Qualifications*\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience in mainframe operations.\n\nAt least 2 years of experience operating and administering IBM p-Series/z-Series platforms.\n\nAt least 1 year of experience with automated system monitoring and maintenance procedures.\n\nExperience with ITM System Monitoring or similar tools.\n\nBachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or an equivalent qualification in mainframe operations.\n\nStrong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.\n\n*“We are an equal opportunity employer.
