We are focused on developing test and measurement equipment for cryogenic and quantum computing. We are looking for enthusiastic, talented individuals who can thrive in a changing and challenging environment.\n\nPURPOSE\n\nThis position takes a leading role in creating electrical and systems design for complex automated cryogenic systems. This individual would be responsible for the detailed systems electrical design which integrates and coordinates the function of multiple subsystems and their interface to custom software. Subsystems include vacuum, motion control, vision, temperature measurement, AC and DC power distribution, and cryogenic systems.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nProficient in detailed electrical design (in SolidWorks Electrical or similar) for complex assemblies, cable harnesses, and system documentation.\nAbility to implement design for ease of manufacturing and cost reduction.\nConduct verification, testing and troubleshooting of systems and components.\nCoordinate with the mechanical and software design teams is essential.\nPrepare thorough and complete documentation and schematics of all designs.\nProvide support to assembly technicians.\nEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.\n2+ years of experience in electrical system design for a manufacturing environment.\nTest and verification of component and system designs will be required.\nExperience in electrical system troubleshooting is vital in this role.\nAttention to detail, good time management, and good written and verbal communications skills are important.\nCandidate should be able to effectively coordinate with various departments and stakeholders and be able to work both independently and within a team.\nFamiliarity with system design in compliance with standards such as S2, S8, NFPA79, UL61010-1, CE would be a plus.\nThe pay range for this role in Boulder, CO is between $94,100 and $123,480. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
