You will drive all aspects of quality and process improvements to help the team ensure that our features are rock-solid and ready to be released to our customers. Reporting bugs with outstanding isolation and regression techniques will be the key to your success. This role requires balancing a wide variety of deliverables that will rely on your talent for managing priorities and communicating progress and risks effectively and systematically. Your ongoing curiosity and dedication to self-education in AI/ML technologies, video/photo/music/productivity applications, editing software, as well as new testing techniques, is what will set you apart. You will be working closely with other team members to help coordinate multi-functional test efforts.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nProven experience of working on Creator or Creative platform and applications.\n\nFamiliar with Apple ecosystem and writing automation for Apple platforms including iOS and macOS.\n\nExperience with photo, video, and cloud editing workflows using creative applications is a plus.\n\nExperience in large-scale web applications and cross-platform test automation.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or similar engineering roles.\n\nFluent in Python, Swift, and/or JavaScript to prototype features, create, and test with internal tools.\n\nProven experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks for mobile and web platforms using tools like XCTest, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.\n\nProficiency in testing iOS/macOS and/or Android apps, cloud-based frameworks, and framework APIs.\n\nExperience developing/validating GenAI tools or working on AI-adjacent projects.\n\nDemonstrable experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and associated tools (e.g., Jenkins, Xcode Server).\n\nStrong communication, collaboration, and project management skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.\n\nPay & Benefits\n\nAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,000 and $308,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.\n\nApple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
