Ready to join us?\r\nKey Accountabilities and Priorities\r\nAnalyze and understand user and computer systems requirements as well as design solutions and write specifications for computer programs.\r\nParticipate to any software development lifecycle activity; estimating, planning, designing, coding, documenting and testing of software applications.\r\nProvide technical mentorship to project team members, for example participating to code review.\r\nWork closely with the Team lead or any other person in charge of the team.\r\nResponsible for the Analysis of software applications and computer systems.\r\nAssist in analyzing, designing and developing new software applications including coding, testing, debugging and documenting programs in support of the Software Development Life Cycle.\r\nRequired Education and/or Experience\r\n7+ years of experience in Object Oriented analysis, design, development and integration of software products in a company recognized for software development capability.\r\n5+ years development experience with Java (j2EE, Hibernate, Spring, etc.).\r\n2+ years development experience with JavaScript / TypeScript.\r\n2+ years development experience with Single Page Application Frameworks like Angular.\r\nExperience using software best practices like test driven development (TDD) and continuous integration.\r\nExperience working with Agile methods and iterative development, such as SCRUM, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP), and pair programming.\r\nSolid experience with design patterns, refactoring and unit testing and object oriented analysis/design.\r\nFamiliarity with relational databases, preferably Oracle or SQL Server.\r\nFamiliarity with Kafka consumers, Jenkins, CI/CD, Right-sizing of instances.\r\nRequisite Abilities and/or Skills\r\nExcellent communication skills – must be strong enough for customer facing situations.\r\nDemonstrate problem solving skills to deal with complex situations while providing creative solutions.\r\nStrive for continuous improvement and personal development, proactively encouraging the same from team members.\r\nAdditional Skills & Qualifications\r\nCloud Knowledge – Preferable AWS.\r\nExperience Level\r\nIntermediate Level\r\nJob Type & Location\r\nThis is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, TX.\r\nPay and Benefits\r\nThe pay range for this position is $91,700.00 – $137,500.00/yr.\r\nMedical, Dental, and Vision\r\nCritical Illness, Accident, and Hospital\r\n401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available\r\nLife Insurance (Voluntary Life and AD&D for employee and dependents)\r\nShort and Long-Term Disability\r\nHealth Spending Account (HSA)\r\nTransportation Benefits\r\nEmployee Assistance Program\r\nTime Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave)\r\nWorkplace Type\r\nThis is a fully remote position.\r\nApplication Deadline\r\nThis position is anticipated to close on Apr 7, 2026.\r\nAbout TEKsystems\r\nWe're partners in transformation.
