Strong candidates may come from backgrounds such as:\n\n* Technical Founder or Founding Engineer\n* Senior / Staff Full-Stack Engineer\n* AI / Applied AI Engineer\n* Hands-on Software Architect\n* Forward Deployed or Implementation Engineer\n\nWhat matters most is that you’ve personally built and shipped production systems, can own problems end to end, and are comfortable working when requirements are incomplete or changing.\n\nExperience with LLMs, agents, or other AI systems is highly relevant, but isn’t required for every opportunity.\n\nOne evaluation, multiple opportunities\n\n1. Short AI interview\n\nTake it whenever works for you.\n\nWe’ll discuss systems you’ve actually built: architecture, technical decisions, trade-offs, production issues, and what you learned.\n\nNo algorithm puzzles. No keyword matching against your resume.\n\n2. Conversation with MakeHire\n\nWe’ll learn what you’re actually looking for: company stage, domain, compensation, location, work setup, and career goals.\n\n3.
