Tax & Compliance Manager Our client, a leading organization in the industry sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tax & Compliance Manager to join their team. As a Tax & Compliance Manager, you will be an integral part of the finance department supporting compliance and tax strategy initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization. Location: Las Cruces, NM Pay Range: $110K - 160K a year Shift: 8am to 5pm What's the Job? Build, implement, and oversee the company's multi-state tax and compliance framework. Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive State Sales and Use Tax program across more than 40 states. Coordinate the preparation and filing of federal and state corporate tax returns in partnership with external advisors and internal teams. Manage corporate compliance requirements, including business registrations, securities filings, and statutory obligations. Identify, evaluate, and pursue available tax credits, incentives, and abatements at various government levels. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field; CPA, JD, or MST preferred. 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax with strong multi-state Sales and Use Tax exposure. Hands-on experience implementing or managing tax automation software such as Avalara. Strong understanding of state nexus rules, sales and use tax regimes, and corporate compliance requirements.
