The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in maintaining equipment reliability, supporting facility operations, leading continuous improvement projects, and ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards. This Electrical Engineer position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing and testing environment. The ideal Electrical Engineer will have a strong background in industrial systems, maintenance practices, and process improvement.\nEssential Responsibilities\nProvide engineering and technical support for high-speed balancing machines, test cells, drive systems, instrumentation, controls, and supporting facility infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.\nLead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action initiatives for equipment, process, and facility issues to improve reliability, throughput, and overall equipment effectiveness.\nDevelop, implement, and optimize preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs while utilizing CMMS systems to manage work orders, asset histories, maintenance plans, and reliability metrics.\nMonitor equipment health, performance data, and asset reliability to identify improvement opportunities, enhance equipment availability, and support critical spare parts strategies.\nSupport and maintain facility systems including electrical distribution, HVAC, compressed air, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems, ensuring sufficient utility capacity and operational reliability.\nLead facility, equipment, and infrastructure improvement projects from concept through commissioning, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, contractor coordination, installation, and startup activities.\nDevelop engineering specifications, standards, technical documentation, and project justifications while ensuring compliance with applicable engineering, safety, and building standards.\nEnsure compliance with OSHA, environmental, fire protection, and facility safety requirements through risk assessments, lockout/tagout (LOTO) programs, machine safety reviews, audits, inspections, and emergency preparedness activities.\nCoordinate contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure project and maintenance activities are completed safely, on time, within budget, and meet quality expectations.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, operational efficiency, quality, and cost reduction through data analysis, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, best practices, and emerging technologies.\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline required.\n3-7 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, test facilities, rotating equipment, or industrial operations.\nExperience supporting high-speed rotating equipment, balancing systems, test stands, turbines, compressors, motors, or similar systems preferred.\nExperience with maintenance and reliability engineering practices preferred.\nUnderstanding of vibration analysis, rotor dynamics, balancing principles, and rotating equipment reliability.\nKnowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.\nExperience with PLCs, instrumentation, sensors, and data acquisition systems.\nProficiency with CMMS, Microsoft Office, and engineering software tools.\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, electrical schematics, and technical specifications.\nPay: $45.42 -
