Many of our team members are alumni from the University of Florida, Santa Fe College, and Embry Riddle.\n\nProofreaders will review Content materials that include virtual and hardcopy books, videos, audios, and the company website, to ensure the content follows house style consistently, is grammatically correct, and easy to understand.\n\nProofreaders often cross train in word processing and work in both areas when needed. Word Processors format, edit and produce documents using a proprietary word processing system based upon HTML/XML.\n\nRequirements: Must be able to work on-site in Gainesville, Florida.\n\nTyping 40+ wpm.\nExcellent English and grammar knowledge.\nPossess good attention to detail.\nStrong computer skills.\nAbility to work in a library environment.\n\nDesirable, but Not Required\n\n4-year degree, preferably in English, Education or a related field, and/or equivalent experience.\n\nReferences required. Drug testing and background check will be conducted upon a job offer.
