VHDL experience preferred.\n\nAbility to perform initial board bring-up and troubleshooting.\n\nExperience with hardware/firmware/software integration.\n\nUnderstanding of configuration management, requirements traceability and related processes.\n\nUnderstanding of embedded software programming (C language) is a plus.\n\nAbility to design, analyze, troubleshoot and test electronics.\n\nExperience in writing reports and test procedures.\n\nExperience performing validation and verification of requirements while ensuring conformance to DO-254 processes.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor's Degree (EE, CE or CS); Master's Degree preferred\n\nAt least 3 years experience in the design, development and qualification of aerospace electronics\n\nMUST know data communications protocols.\n\nWritten and verbal communication.\n\nExperience with VHDL design and verification.\n\nKnowledge of DO-178B and DO-254 standards preferred.\n\nAbility to travel (including outside the U.S.) up to 25%.\n\nAdditional Information\nOther Terms:\n\nALL applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for classified information.\n\nPhysical Job Requirements:\n\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\nAbility to sit and work at a computer station (including laptop) for lengthy periods of time.\n\nAbility to work in a standard office work environment.\n\nCERTON’S Company Environment:\n\nCERTON offers an open environment that supports growth, development and a healthy work/life balance.
