The Network Administrator shall focus on implementation and coordination of wired and wireless network equipment across hundreds of sites across the globe, remotely coordinating the work. The individual will utilize tools to provide predictive heat mapping, onsite surveys utilizing Ekahau, and Cisco Prime Infrastructure. This includes supporting the implementation of Software-Defined Access (SDA) at Regional Office Buildings. physical and virtual devices within the network.\r\nManage status, errors, and inbound and outbound traffic statistics of all routing interfaces, bandwidth utilization, and errors of all inbound and outbound LAN/WAN circuits.\r\nProvides consulting services to members of the professional staff and to the customer in the analysis and design of data processing systems, management systems, scientific systems, and other related areas.\r\nMakes technical decisions on kinds of data to be gathered and methods to be used in data collection and analysis.\r\nProvides technical direction, guidance, and assistance to assigned projects, suggesting efficient approaches and methods for solving problems.\r\nDevelops analytical and computational techniques and methodology for problem solution.\r\nProvision and configuring switches and routers.\r\nAssists with vulnerability patching and IOS upgrades.\r\nPrepares and presents written and oral reports.\r\nAnalyzes, diagnoses, and recommends solutions to complex problems.\r\nEscalate issues to vendor and third-party entities, as necessary and directed by the Government.\r\nGenerates / updates network documentation in articles and SOPs.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nPublic Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain\r\nITILv4 Foundation Certification within 120 days of start date.\r\nPrevious experience with vulnerability patching and IOS upgrades.\r\nPrevious experience supporting and operating Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN) sites\r\nPossesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.\r\nFunctions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.\r\nDesign and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.\r\nPerform systems management and integration functions\r\nProven ability to work independently in a full and/or partial remote environment with limited supervision.\r\nPossess the ability to communicate in both oral and written forms, demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff as well as clients.\r\nMaintain standard working hours per the DIGIT contract and to be available for meetings, and other collaborative efforts during working hours.\r\nPossesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.\r\nAssignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nCisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA).\r\nProficiency in wireless survey software such as Ekahau, both in actual survey functions and engineering and architecture based on the
