Our scope includes the Lambda website, cloud APIs and systems as well as internal tooling for system deployment, management and maintenance.\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild responsive, feature-rich React applications that enable customers to monitor and manage their usage, billing and payment methods in lambda cloud dashboard\nOptimize applications for speed and efficiency\nCreate robust communication architectures to interface with internal and third-party services/APIs\nWork on the architecture of our distributed systems to ensure best-in-class reliability and efficiency, while helping to minimize operational costs and toil work\nBuild products that provide billing and identity for a wide range of AI products that will be launched by Lambda\nHandle interesting and dynamic scaling, hardware and scheduling challenges in a very dynamic and rapidly changing industry sector\nYou\nAre an experienced senior software engineer with six or more years of working on business-critical distributed systems.\nFamiliar with front end frameworks like react/javascript and has written backend services in Python or Golang. Can pickup new languages and frameworks as needed\nHave significant experience architecting systems around relational databases, document databases, queue datastores, block storage, object storage, unreliable networks, and caches.\nHave a deep understanding of the balance between initial build costs and operational costs, and what it takes to launch a product quickly but with a good technical foundation.\nAre very familiar with building integrated test frameworks and using CI/CD systems\nAre product-oriented and focused on great user experiences, and are invested in building the best product possible for users.\nAre good at working cross-functionally and solving problems across teams, including empathetic conflict resolution when working alongside teams with different priorities.\nNice to Have\nExperience working with Payments, Billing and/or Fraud systems\nExperience working with Kubernetes on cloud (preferably AWS-EKS)\nSalary Range Information\nBased on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $255,000-$405,000.
