With over $200,000 in equipment and a reputation for responsive service, we're looking to grow our team with reliable and hard-working equipment operators who are critical to our site-clearing operations.\nPosition Overview\nWe are seeking a dependable Grapple Operator to join our team. This heavy equipment operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a hydraulic grapple to load, sort, and organize materials for transport or disposal. This role is critical to our yard management and site clean-up efficiency, requiring precision, a strong commitment to safety, and reliable focus. A Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required as this role involves operating heavy-duty trucks and tractor-trailers to move equipment and materials.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperation: Safely and efficiently operate equipment fitted with a grapple attachment to sort, stack, lift, and load materials such as debris, logs, scrap, and brush.\nTransport & Logistics: Operate Class A Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMV), including tractor-trailers or heavy-duty straight trucks, to transport equipment and materials (e.g., loaded dumpsters, heavy machinery) to and from job sites or disposal facilities.\nLoading/Unloading: Load roll-off dumpsters and trailers accurately and efficiently, ensuring all loads are secured, balanced, and comply with weight and transport regulations.\nYard Management: Organize and consolidate materials in the yard, minimizing contamination, maximizing storage space, and maintaining an orderly and safe working environment.\nMaintenance Checks: Conduct daily pre-shift and post-shift equipment and vehicle inspections, including thorough checks of the tractor, trailer, and grapple systems.
