In this role, you'll leverage our in-house training to gain extensive product knowledge, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied and confident in their decisions. Service Advisor / Writer Salary : $42,000 to $50,000 Hours: 7am-5pm (No Weekends) Essential Functions: Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and maintain positive relationships throughout their experience to ensure repeat business. Consult with technicians to discuss needed repairs and offer alternative solutions to costly fixes. Schedule all service work and oversee administration and warranty processes. Collaborate with the Parts team to ensure technicians have the parts they need and that they’re accurately recorded on service orders. Clearly communicate technicians’ findings to customers. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and responsibilities. Work Environment/Physical Demands: Primarily a desk job, involving significant time working on a computer. Occasionally exposed to hazardous or dirty areas; proper safety gear is required. Regular phone interaction with customers and team members. The noise level can vary, especially near the shop floor. Some physical activity is required, including occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds. Position Type: Full-time position. Job Requirements: Previous experience in the automotive or construction industry preferred. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in computer-related programs. Professional, hardworking, and customer-focused attitude. Comfort working in a team environment. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to company software. Reports to: Service Department Manager Expected Hours of Work: The Bobcat is open Monday to Friday, with retail hours from 7 am to 5 pm.
